Kerala's election commission is verifying voter registrations at a polling booth. A faulty system created an array with some voter IDs appearing multiple times (duplicate registrations). Election officers need to count total duplicate entries (excluding the original occurrences) to prevent double voting.
Approach
Given array of N voter IDs, count total duplicate entries (excluding originals).
